Refund Policy

At Upstate Premier Tutors, we are committed to providing the highest quality educational support for our students. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we strive to create a positive and enriching learning experience. Below is our refund policy to ensure clarity and transparency.

One-Time Lessons

​

  • Cancellation Policy:
    Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling at no additional cost.
    Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson will not be eligible for a refund.

​

  • Missed Lessons:
    Missed lessons without prior notice will not qualify for a refund.

 

Weekly and Monthly Plans

​

  • Refund Requests:
    If you are dissatisfied with the services provided, you may request a refund for unused lessons in your plan. Refunds will be prorated based on the number of lessons already completed.

​

  • Advance Cancellations:
    To receive a refund for the remainder of your plan, cancellations must be requested at least 7 days before the next scheduled lesson.

​

  • Discount Plans:
    Refunds for plans with discounted rates (e.g., 2 lessons per week or monthly subscriptions) will be adjusted to reflect the standard hourly rate for lessons already completed.

 

Full Semester Plans (6 Months)

​

  • Refund Requests:
    Refunds for semester plans are available for unused lessons. Completed lessons will be charged at the standard hourly rate, and the remaining balance will be refunded.

​

  • Notice Requirements:
    A written request must be submitted at least 14 days in advance to cancel and request a refund for a semester plan.

 

Group Tutoring

​

  • Cancellation Policy:
    Refunds are not available for group tutoring sessions unless the session is canceled by Upstate Premier Tutors.
    Missed group sessions cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

 

Satisfaction Guarantee

We are confident in the quality of our tutoring services. If you feel that a session did not meet your expectations, please contact us within 48 hours of the lesson, and we will work to address your concerns.

 

Special Circumstances

Exceptions to the above policies may be made at the discretion of Upstate Premier Tutors in cases of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. Please reach out to discuss your situation.

 

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at upstatepremiertutors@gmail.com with the following details:

  1. Your full name.

  2. The name of the student.

  3. The date(s) of the lesson(s).

  4. The reason for your refund request.

Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after approval.
